The Rhythm of Learning:

In our school, music resonates throughout our curriculum. Our students engage in music education that goes beyond learning notes and rhythms. Through music, they develop critical thinking skills, creativity, and cultural awareness. Whether they're composing original pieces, studying the history of music, or collaborating in ensemble groups, students experience the power of music in their academic journey. Incorporating music into our school's curriculum and extracurricular activities has numerous benefits for students' cognitive, emotional, and social development. This year we have taken some steps to further integrate music into our learning in Kildimo National School. We purchased 30 Ukuleles and our children are lucky enough to take Tin Whistle/Ukulele/Drumming Lessons each week in school right throughout the academic year.
