Junior and Senior Infants are enjoying learning all about Spring at the moment. We went on a spring walk, learned all about what makes plants grow and how to look after them. We made some beautiful spring field pictures by colouring and painting using animal sponges. We are patiently waiting for our class caterpillars to turn into chrysalis, any day now! 

We are also making excellent progress with learning our sounds, sight words and doing our class readers. Seniors are starting 'Super Smoothie' this week and Juniors are starting 'Let's make pancakes'. 

Music lessons with James are the highlight of our week at the moment. We can now play two chords on the ukulele and learned three songs to sing while we are playing.  

Finally, we have some excellent movers in our class. If you do meet any Junior / Senior Infants, ask them to perform a little of our Gaeilge song 'Tá a lán éadaí agam'. You will be in for a treat!
