Welcome Back A big welcome back to all our families and school community. We are off to a great start and a big special welcome to our fantastic group of Junior Infants this year. Hot Lunches are also going down a treat and we are delighted to have already started our music lessons in school last week. Debating

A massive well done to the debating team again who on Friday last, debated against St. Michael's NS in the 2nd round of the debating competition.

The motion being argued was that the 'School summer holidays are too long' and thankfully, Kildimo were opposing this motion!

Adam was researcher, Emma was the timekeeper and Abi, Rachel & Emily all delivered fantastic speeches on reasons we need our summer holidays!!

The adjudicator was very impressed with all involved! 

After plenty of rebuttal, there was a nervous wait before St. Michael's were announced as the winners. 

Well done again to all involved, debating is a fantastic skill that will stand to the children moving forward into secondary school for sure!
