Hello everyone and welcome to the 2nd and 3rd Class section of our school website. At the moment we are busy preparing for First Holy Communion. We have had a brilliant year so far, excellent learning and lots of fun activities. I will give you a snapshot into some activities.

• For Art we used clay to make pinch pots, we painted cherry blossom trees using cotton buds and we did pom pom flower paintings. 
• For SESE we made bottle tornadoes using tornado tubes, we went on a scavenger hunt and as well as making Lava Lamps. In History we wrote our names in an old ancient language called Ogham. We also did cave drawings from Stone Age times. 
• In Irish we learned the songs Péigin Leitir Mór and An Maidrín Rua while performing the Haka as Gaeilge for Seachtaine Na Gaeilge. 
• In Maths we did stations and played games like King or Queen, Guess the Number, Dice Games and Card Games. 
• For P.E. we play games such as Waspital, Zombie Tag, Pizza Tag.
