Science Inventor Competition

A big congratulations to Alison in 6th who came runner-up in a science competition we entered back last November. Children had to come up with an invention of the future that would help people in some way. Alison designed her own epilepsy glasses. She came up with the idea to improve the lifestyles of those suffering from the condition. Blue lenses are fitted to the outside of the spectacles, with separate black lenses on the inside. This setup allows light flashes to be blocked by the glasses before they reach the eye, while still allowing wearers to see.

See the details below of Alison's invention and also the overall winner and the other runners-up. Thanks to Rapid Online for organising and running the competition.  http://www.rapidonline.com/Education
