Junior Entrepreneur Programme

6th class have been busy doing the "JEP" this last few months. The Junior Entrepreneur Programme (JEP) is a 10 - 16 week entrepreneurial education programme for primary school pupils. The innovative programme opens the minds of the children to the joy of entrepreneurship at a time in their lives when they are full of imagination and open to new possibilities. They have really enjoyed it so far and came up with some great ideas for the product/service we are going to market. Last Thursday, we had our big "Dragons' Den" and it was an amazing experience for all involved.
See some pictures below and Josh's report for a full synopsis.

Dragons'  Den- 19th November 2015

Today we hosted the "Dragons' Den" in 6th class and we presented our ideas to the judges. They all said they were very good and were impressed with our innovative ideas. We were all very excited in the lead up to the big event and worked so hard to make our presentations the best we possibly could.

The dragons were :

Mrs. Foley

Mr O' Neill

Mary Sexton

Mrs Ward

{Thank you all very much.}

The ideas were:

 My Time

 Box- It

 The GAA Board Game

 ELS Sweatband

 The Kildimo/1916 rising DVD.

Each group gave a brilliant presentation. All the judges grilled us on our ideas and the winner was "My Time"- a personalized clock. We look forward to developing, marketing and selling this product in January and February.
